is there a way to make a screen protector sticky again?
I have a NLU privacy screen guard for my blackberry.
I put it on about 3 weeks ago, couple days ago I noticed some bubbles...maybe because I didn't put it on 100% correctly
I tried to fix it without taking it off, but it didn't work the bubbles just kept coming back in the same spots.
I took it off....big mistake now there are a lot of bubbles and its not as sticky as before (obviously)
is there a way to make it sticky again? or do I have to buy another one?
You're pretty much out of luck. Once the protector is removed it picks up dust and other contaminates and will really never work quite as good as new again. I'd probably go with a new one.
If you want, you can try to carefully wash it with cool water, shake off the excess (do not try to dry it) and apply it onto the screen starting at one end and working to the other. The little bit of water on it will help it to adhere better and fairly cleanly. Carefully push out any excess water and air bubbles with a soft cloth, working from the center outward.
