What do you guys think.
Obviously that's a great gaming PC, but that's also an awful lot of money. You can probably put in two 750GB drives for the cost of the 1TB drive, and the two 750GB drives will be faster.
I love the Nine Hundred case. That's a great choice. Others will tell you not to choose Vista Ultimate 64-bit, but I don't agree. There's not much point in paying extra for Ultimate though. But I definitely recommend a 64-bit OS.
Not much reason to pay for DDR3. It gets you almost no performance benefit and cost quite a few extra bucks. Also, if you do the math, you can see this rig doesn't need a 1kW supply, though it does allow you to upgrade to SLI -- except the mobo won't do SLI. You might want to rethink that choice.
Good choice of video card, good choice of sound card. Good choice of CPU.
I think you could put together a system that's basically just as good but almost $2,000 less. (Is this a parts cost or an assembled and tested cost?)
