so what am i covered? tdap?
so like 2 years ago i got the tdap shot so i could go to 6th grade. but my mom wants me to get a shot protecting me fron menungitus. im gonna be 14 in march,so can i get a menungitus shot? was the tdap shot for menungitus?
does the menungitus shot hurt?
arent i suposed to get a shot for cancer or somthin?

btw my mom is pushing the menungitus shot so much because there was a case in our area,and im goin back to school where i mite pick it upp
the tdap covers Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis. So to answer your question no, meningitis is not covered in that. Some providers say its good to get the meningitis shot before going to college, as you are living in close quarters with a lot of other young people. Which causes easy spreading of the disease.Remember to always wash your hands, and don't share food, eating utensils, drinks, etc with others as it is spread easily this way. The "cancer" shot you are referring to is the HPV shot. It is a shot that goes it to your muscle like the tdap shot, however this shot you have to get 3 times spread out over time.
